SGCompany once again invites you to a summer concert at St. Petri Church. This year, together with Scandinavia’s soul and gospel king: Samuel Ljungblahd. This is something you don’t want to miss!
The choir has made it a tradition at their summer concerts to bring out highly valued “album classics” – popular and beloved CD releases – and perform concert versions of entire albums. So far, the choir – and guests – have performed classics such as Carola & Per Erik Hallin’s “Live i Rättviks kyrka” Carola’s “Blott en dag” album, Sigvart Dagsland’s “Det er makt i de foldede hender” and the choir’s own album “It’s Amazing.” These have been powerful and wonderful concert experiences with Stavanger Gospel Company and guests. Packed churches and great feedback.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Samuel Ljungblahd’s fantastic “The Psalmist” album. An album packed with quality songs and fantastic production.
Stavanger Gospel Company will recreate the atmosphere with the same lineup and arrangements. Samuel, choir, band, and brass section! It will be an atmospheric and lively evening at St. Petri. Welcome!
